Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

HandshakePro ("we", "us") provides cricket scoring, public live scorecards and YouTube live-streaming tools at handshakepro.in and in the HandshakePro mobile app. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we store

How we use YouTube access

If you choose Connect YouTube, you grant HandshakePro the youtube.force-ssl permission. We use it only to read your channel name and picture, and to create, configure and manage live broadcasts and live streams for matches you choose to stream (title, description, tags, category, privacy, audience and latency). We do not upload other videos, read your comments, subscriptions or watch history, or post anything else on your behalf.

Stream keys returned by YouTube are sent only to your signed-in device to start streaming and are not shown, logged or shared. Refresh tokens are stored encrypted on our server and are never sent to the app.

Google API Services — Limited Use

HandshakePro's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security, or to comply with law.

Public information

When a match's public link is on, its scorecard (team names, player names and match statistics) can be viewed by anyone with the link, and listed on handshakepro.in unless you turn off "List on website". Turn the public link off to make a match private.

Sharing

We don't sell personal data. We use service providers to host the app and store files. YouTube data is shared only with Google, as needed to create your broadcasts.

Disconnecting and deletion

Security and retention

Data is sent over HTTPS. We keep your data while your account is active, and delete YouTube tokens as soon as you disconnect or access expires.

Children

HandshakePro is meant to be used by adults (scorers, coaches, organisers). Junior matches may be scored by adults on behalf of academies and clubs.

Changes

We'll update this page if this policy changes.
